All I know
I know... That i really would take advantage of a 24 hour library
The university of Maryland has a 24 hour library
There would be benefits for people who want late hours of work
Computers would be open later at night
There would be restricting access, you would need to show an ID
Maybe access to computers is inaccessible after a certain time
Limited to only St. Kates students
Lights will be censored, so there not all on at one time
Students who wake up early 4-5AM will also benefit, not just the late owls. |

JOB: A professional photographer of waterfalls
Why you would be good at this: I think that I would be an excellent choice for this job position because I really know how to photograph the outdoors. I can capture the actual droplets of water flowing into the stream. The rainbow that covers the waterfall has every shade of color, I can capture that. Also I am not afraid to take risks to photograph high waterfalls or even get under some of these fifty feet waterfalls.
Education and other experience: I have a two year degree form the school of Professional Photography. I also have gone to Australia to photograph wild animals, and the beauty of their land. I am now twenty-six years old and own my own photography company. I have a lot of experience and would really enjoy showing you the true beauty of waterfalls and the nature that surrounds them.
How long are you wanting to work with us: I would love to keep this as a permanant job, although time will only permit me to be allowed to work part time for as long as i am needed.
I look forward in meeting with you and await the moment that I can show you the world...

The pine tree apple orchard is a place I like to go to. When I go to the apple orchard I become energized about being there. I really like the hayride through the apple orchard, down to the pumpkin patch, where you get to walk-around and hunt for your perfect pumpkin.
After the hayride we go into the barn and shop for all the exciting food. My mouth waters at the smell of the homemade apple pie, and the smell of cinnamon cider fills the air. I usually order way to much food to eat and sometimes even get a stomachache from eating too many sweets. I really enjoy going to the apple orchard, its one of my favorite things to do in the fall. Whenever I here the word apple orchard, I become very energized about my special place.
As I have thought about this prompt, I have also thought about how the Pine Tree Apple Orchard could be a very irritating place for some as well. I always think who could be irriatated about the apple orchard? I have to remember that everyone who is there is not there to have fun. They have people who work there, and children who are forced to go there, but for me i really enjoy it. |

I turn on the television and horror flows across the screen. Murders, rapes, and school shootings is what fills the images on TV. I wonder to myself why everything that is on the news is only the negative aspects of the world.
When I sit back at night from a long day of school, work, and homework and would like to see what is going on in the world I turn on the television. As my schedule allows me to I watch TV at ten P.M. Most channels on prime time TV are showing the news, I sit back and think great not only have I had a long stressful day but now its time for me to learn the horrors of the universe. Why is it that the news has to show the negativity in American lives? That’s just what Americans need, to come home from there treacherous day and be bombarded with more terrible things. I would really enjoy to turn on the TV one day at ten, watch the news, and be satisfied with the way our world is depicted.
As many of you know recently there has been a tremendous amount of school shootings occurring in the last two weeks. If you turn on the news at anytime in the day I can guarantee that you will be filled with excessive amounts of information about the recent shootings that have occurred in the United States. Although let me ask you this, when was the last time you turned on the TV and had a smiling child read a report about his dad in the military that he had just won some awards on. My guess is probably never, because that is not interesting to the news. They think that no one really cares about a child excelling and accomplishing special tasks, instead they like to get down and dirty and focus on naughty children. |

Today i went to Caribou Coffee, while i was there i sat in a corner trying to be hidden from the world and still involved enough to know what was going on. The people who came through this Caribou were of many different age groups and both male and female. Some ordered a soft, delicate bagel, and others ordered a steamy, sweet latte. I watched the way a guest would enter this environment, if they came in confident and knowledgable, or if they were clueless and maybe visiting Caribou for the first time.
A conversation was going on next to me by two old guys who looked like they could be regulars. They were sitting in the two lounge black leather chairs carrying on a conversation about cars. The barista who was making drinks called the men both by their first name. The two men kidded around with the girl and seemed to enjoy the fact that she knew their names. Lastly I decided to take in the atmosphere of this quaint coffee shop. Caribou gave me a feeling of comfort and enjoyment when i sat in my chair and watched what was going on. It made me smile because it made me feel like this was a place for the two men to call their home away from home |

If i could be anywhere right this second I think I would be in Europe traveling all over. My mom and i had recently ventureed there over the summer and since my one visit I can not wait to go back. I would begin in Rome, i would shop all dayone day, the next day i would visit the collusium and the Vadican and thenmy third day in rome I would sit at a little resteraunt take in the culture and drink some fine wine for very cheap. Next i would travel south to Venice, where I would go on a gondola ride, shop, and eat some amazing pizza. After my trip in Italy i would go to France. In France I would do as much as possible, eating, site seeing, and a little wine drinking. My last stop in southern Europe would be in Greece. When I visited Europe I was unable to make it to Greece so now that is the oneplace I would really like to get to.
Most importantly on my trip I would like to talk about who I would bring with me. Along on this unpaid vacation would be my mom, dad, brothers, boyfriend, and grandparents, although my mom would be my first choice. If it was unpaid I would shop in every place I went and buy every style of clothing. Also not only would I shop for me but I would bring everyone a little piece of Europe back to them. |

I prefer the season of Fall, the rich colorful leaves and the nice cool breezes. I love the months of September, October, and November for simple reasons that i want to explain to you.
My birthday happens to fall in September which also gives me a reason to enjoy Fall more. I also enjoy the wonderful and exciting clothing line that comes out in the Fall. Sweaters, Fall coats and most of all long skirts. The colors that represent Fall are also some of my favorite colors. In the Fall not only can you enjoy the outdoors by sitting outside and not sweating to death, but you can be mesmorized by the true beauty of the outdoors, and the multiple vibrant colors that show on the ground and in the trees.
Another great reason that I enjoy the season of Fall is simply because I am obsessed with football. An obsession that every single Monday night you will see me watching the vikings in full supporting gear.
Lastly I would like to inform you that I believe Fall to be a new beginning to your life. In the Fall I let go of my grudges and move on with a smile, most people believe that New Years is a time for starting over but I think as Summer being the end and Fall a new beginning. |
